More people joining the GREAT PATTAYA EXODUS

Social Media in Thailand is sharing a story by yet another person who is finally throwing in the towel and leaving Pattaya.

This time the person has spent seven profitable years in the former resort city but the devastating impact of the COVID mis-management panic means it is time to find somebody else to rob.

The local media described it as a ‘sad post’ and claims that is sums up the current situation perfectly.

The person in question says she is heading back home to Chaiyaphum leaving behind a city that has ‘taught her so much.’ We don’t doubt that at all.

But, she can no longer cope, it is time to leave. A picture of her suitcases was a telling image, they say.

The social media post reads:

‘It’s my last night in Pattaya tonight. Thanks for helping me grow up and understand the meaning of #life. The stuff is put away, the tears are flowing. I can’t really explain my feelings. Seven years have passed of life in Pattaya. I love the place and I don’t want to go. I wanted to work and set myself up here. I never thought it would come to this’

The post continued saying that the whole world had changed not just Pattaya. People who had helped were thanked and promises were made to come back one day as a tourist.

‘I love you Pattaya,’ she blubbered. ‘The city that never sleeps.’

Sure…. Now the bus station is that way love.
