Video footage has leaked that shows an Aussie thug launching an unprovoked attack on a middle-aged tourist drinking in a Pattaya bar.
The attacker, who has been revealed on social media as Australian national Alan William Toner, 48, jumps from his seat as the victim leaves the bar.
Toner then smashes a bottle over the middle-aged man’s head from behind, like the scum, coward he is.
The victim, who is unnamed, is knocked out and crashes to the floor as staff and other customers run to help him.
The attack happened at the Triangle Bar, off Soi Buakhoa, during February, but was kept quiet for fear of damaging the city’s reputation as a ‘world class tourist resort.’
Witnesses said the attack was entirely unprovoked.
Toner has reportedly been arrested and is currently in jail awaiting trial.
The victim needed 70 stitches and casts for broken ribs and wrists.
