Firefighters from six trucks battled for about an hour before bringing the blaze under control, but not before it had almost destroyed the building.
Nobody was injured but the risk to firefighters was considerable and the damage is estimated to be six-million baht.

She said crews had been inside the South Pattaya disco every day to prepare for an eventual reopening.
The fire is the latest in a long line of mysterious blazes destroying closed Pattaya businesses over the last eight months.
