Chonburi announces a new list of closures

The governor of Chonburi has issued a new order with more Covid-19 related restrictions and closures.

The order is effective immediately and will last until until further notice is given.

This follows the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration, or CCSA, stating even more measures were being considered for maximum control in the provinces.

The new list of closures includes;

All indoor and outdoor sports stadiums

Golf courses, mini-golf, and golf ranges

Libraries and book stores

Public parks, gardens, botanical parks (Nong Nooch)

Boxing facilities/arenas, boxing schools, including outdoor

Barbers/hair salons of all types

Nail salons

Tattoo shops

All types of competition fields/courts (includes tennis, volleyball, and badminton courts, all places for indoor and outdoor sports are to be closed)

All types of swimming pool, private, public, waterparks, and athletic/competition

Museums

Culture centers, learning centers, science centers, art galleries, any sort of similar establishment

Child development centers, preschools, child care.

Dance schools

Malls/Department stores can only be open for supermarket/medicine/vaccinations. It appears that restaurants in malls cannot open, even for take-away.

Markets can only sell food, all other items (non-essential) are to be closed.

All prior orders and items in the last order are still in place.
