Prostitution finally discovered in Pattaya, foreigners arrested

Prostitution finally found - foreign sex workers arrested

After months of declaring Pattaya a prostitute free zone, immigration police have arrested seven ‘street walkers.’

The arrests were made in Walking Street on Tuesday night by a patrol who are dedicated to keeping the city’s streets safe and clean.

Needless to say the seven arrested are all FOREIGNER’S, because there are certainly no Thai hookers in Thailand.

A team led by Chonburi immigration Pol Maj Jinda Khaekpanya arrested a 28 year old woman from Uganda and charged her with ‘selling herself on the street.’

She is now to be deported.

Six others, four from Egypt and two from Uzbekistan, were released with a warning against selling themselves on the street and told that there would be trouble if they did it again.

It is not known if the six were, as the police chief described them, street walkers, or just passing tourists.

A spokesman wanted to take the opportunity to remind visitors that this activity is illegal and damages the reputation of both Pattaya and Thailand.

Locals are not surprised to discover no Thai women were involved because, as we have been told many times, there are no Thai prostitutes anywhere to be found in Pattaya.
