Curfew set to be eased and restaurants re-opened

Chiang Mai’s Nearly 12,000 Restaurants Now Down to Under 2,000

Thailand COVID Clown Show has proposed easing restrictions covering restaurants and the curfew in 29 Dark Red-zone provinces, including Pattaya and Bangkok.

Under the proposal, air-conditioned restaurants will be permitted to open at 50-per-cent capacity while outdoor-dining restaurants can open at 75-per-cent capacity.

In addition, the curfew in the Dark Red zone will begin one hour later and run from 10pm to 4am.

This is because Thailand’s geniuses have calculated that the clever virus has shifted its attack hours from 9pm to 10pm. Last week not safe at 9.01pm. This week safe until 9.59pm.

Soon they will be telling people to wear a bag over their heads and not to walk on cracks in the pavement. Idiots.

The resolution will be proposed to the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration’s (CCSA) meeting chaired by the prime minister on Friday.

The date of its easing has not yet been set but is likely to be when the current lockdown extension expires at midnight on Aug 31.

That is unless another little one decides to start throwing his 45kgs around again and a further million citizens are condemned to poverty.

The 29 Dark Red provinces are Bangkok, Kanchanaburi, Chonburi, Chachoengsao, Nakhon Pathom, Nakhon Nayok, Nakhon Ratchasima, Narathiwat, Nonthaburi, Pathum Thani, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Prachinburi, Ayutthaya, Phetchaburi, Pattani, Phetchabun, Yala, Rayong, Ratchaburi, Lop Buri, Songkhla, Singburi, Samut Prakan, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Saraburi, Suphanburi and Ang Thong.

Let’s just hope it is not too late for some folk and they still have enough resources to stock up and re-open again.
