List of Thai provinces now applying night-time curfews

Thailand has announced ‘voluntary curfews,’ in many provinces urging people to stay home at nights and only travel if absolutely necessary.

With police likely to be patrolling, confronting and questioning people this is, by another name, a new CURFEW.’

In other words, you can leave your homes, but if you do there had better be a good reason.

Obviously a list of good reasons has not been provided and therefore that will be at the discretion of the police officer questioning you.

He or she will be able to decide if you are really going out to pick up granny’s medicine or if you are actually on your way to buy more beer.

The list of provinces, which is almost certain to be added to once the authorities realise there will be little protest and they are going to get away with it again, is currently;
