255,000 treated after POLLUTION, no mention of COVID

Over 255,000 people in Thailand’s northern provinces have received treatment for nose and eye irritation since the beginning of this year, mainly caused by excessive PM2.5 dust in the atmosphere.

Meanwhile there is no mention of the dreaded COVID nonsense that has caused less of a problem than pollution and drunk driving or Dengue Fever, Measles, Chicken Pox, Influenza and any of the other viruses that go around each year.

Unless, of course, you believe that the government’s infantile prevention measures, such as closing cycling lanes and destroying the livelihoods of millions of people have actually worked.

But, without mentioning any of this, Dr. Suwanchai Wattanayingcharoenchai, the director-general of the Department of Health, told the media today (Thursday) that the seasonal air pollution problem in the northern region has greatly affected people with respiratory diseases.

These include asthma, coronary artery disease and eye infections. Young children, the elderly and pregnant women are especially vulnerable.

He disclosed that over a quarter of a million people have visited hospitals and clinics in 17 northern provinces since January 1st, to receive treatment, with most being in the 45-54 age group.

The only surprise here is that Dr. Suwanchai didn’t blame the trendy COVID virus which we now know has had a 99.8% survival rate.

It isn’t a surprise that he still recommended that people stay inside and, when outdoors, wear proper medical, or N95 face masks.

That’s right folks, put your face-nappy on or you are dead.
