Closing shops at 9pm fights COVID, says Thailand

The Thai Retailers Association (TRA) and Thai Shopping Centre Association (TSCA) have jointly agreed on a series of steps to help control the spread of Covid-19.

Their agreement covers all shopping centres, including shops in the shopping centres, and involves raising the level of screening measures for stricter safety and sanitation, as well as closing all shopping centres at 9pm beginning Monday.

The moves follow a second wave of Covid-19 outbreak that has spread to over 50 provinces across the country. – The Nation
