128-year-old Thai man claims to be the oldest alive

A #Thai man who claims to be 128 years old is living in the province of Udon Thani in northeastern Thailand with his 70-year-old wife. #oldestmanalive

They both have 7 children and 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Orn Parnchompoo may claim to be one of the oldest men on the planet.

For proof, a photo of the identity document was published, according to which the man’s birth date is April 9, 1891.


According to the witnesses, he is in good health condition and has very good memory.

The man’s family belongs to one of the major Thai-Laotional national Phu Tai groups that inhabit northeastern Thailand and neighbouring southern Laos.

Mr Parnchompoo explains his longevity with healthy eating and constant exercise.

He was born during the reigns of King Rama V and Britain’s Queen Victoria and has witnessed the history of Thailand for the last hundred years.

But according to Wikipedia, the oldest known living man is Gustav Gerneth of Germany, aged 113 years and 316 days
