#Vietnam’s Ministry of Health announced that all the 39 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the country had been cured and discharged from hospitals.

As reported on Thursday by Deputy Minister of Health Nguyen Truong Son, the figure of patients in the country remains at 39 and the list of deceased, at zero.

None of the 23 lives, having tested positive for Covid-19 since March 6 are in danger and they have not even required mechanical ventilation or invasive treatments. All are under quarantine and receive careful medical attention, indicated the official.

Up to that date Vietnam remained 22 days with only 16 infected with the new coronavirus and they were all on discharge, but a flight from the UK brought several nationals and foreigners who were infected.

Mainly from this flight, the figure grew to the present despite the strict control measures adopted by the health authorities and the government.

The cancellation of visas for citizens of Germany, Denmark, Spain, Finland, France, Norway, United Kingdom and Sweden were added to those already activated earlier today.

This prevention has been in force for several days with respect to travelers from South Korea and Italy. – AFP
