Human remains have been discovered in the water storage tank of a building at Ratchada Road, Chatuchak, Bangkok City.

The body was found by a civilian worker in a tank on the 32nd floor of a building directly opposite the Ratchada Criminal Court at Ratchadapisek 32.

Observant police investigators have concluded, judging by evidence found on the bones, that the victim may have attempted suicide by setting themselves on fire before jumping into the water tank.

Even so Police Major Panupong Jindaluang from the Phaholyothin Police Station and other related officers consider the area a CRIME SCENE and are investigating.

Careful inspection revealed that the body has been decomposing in the water tank for a ‘long time.’

Specialist police investigators are attempting to identify the remains in an effort to find out what has happened here.

They have so far concluded it would be ‘strange’ for a person to commit suicide by setting themselves on fire, at the top of a building, and then jumping into a water tank before closing the hatch after them.

But that is the best lead they have at the moment.

No mention has been made of the building’s residents who have been using the water for showering, brushing their teeth and cooking for a ‘long time.’ – BangkokJack Report
