Eleventh boy is safely out of the cave

Tham Luang Cave Rescue

Reuters and the BBC are reporting that an ELEVENTH boy has been brought safely out of the Tham Luang cave network in Thailand

Today’s final rescue mission to extract the last four boys and their football coach was expected to take longer than the previous two days because, in addition, three Thai Navy SEALS and a Thai army medic who have stayed with the boys since they were found will also come out.

The rescued boys are still being quarantined from their parents because of the risk of infection and would likely be kept in hospital for a week to undergo tests, officials said.

Four more of the boys were carried on stretchers out of the labyrinthine Tham Luang cave on the Myanmar border at dusk on Monday, bringing to eight the number brought out so far after two rescue pushes on successive days.
