Doctors carried out an emergency operation to remove several blood clots from her brain measuring nearly 2cm.

They added that the woman had twice the amount of blood clots compared to an average patient.

Giving an explanation of the woman’s condition, the deputy head of the hospital’s neurology department said that as there were many people on board the train, the woman had stayed in the same posture and position throughout most of her ride.

Her head was tilted to the right and looking at her mobile phone, which had put significant pressure on the blood vessels on her neck, he said.

The woman told news outlets that she was shocked to learn that her actions had resulted in a stroke.

She said that she has always felt healthy and had no known medical problems.

However, doctors noted that there have been an increasing number of younger patients suffering from the same condition.

They advised mobile phone users to adopt a good posture, not to stay too long in the same position and take breaks. – StraitsTimes
