A CROC hunter reckons he’s snagged a beast the size of ten men – and has the picture to prove it.
Matt Wright from Australia calls himself a helicopter pilot and animal expert on Facebook. In his latest photo, he’s seen posing with a crocodile he says is ten times his size.
But the picture sparked outrage because of how the creature was subdued.

Dean Adermann wrote: “Leave the poor animal alone. Why the fuck do you need to catch him?”
And Caryl Park commented: “I can’t stand crocodiles… but time to take the tape off and let him go.”
Others insisted that the tape was used to keep the creature calm and to protect the people dealing with it.
Matt Skinner wrote: “It’s to protect the people relocating the croc and, as it covers the eyes, the croc is not stressed and kept calm.”
“The tail is still a forcible weapons as are the claws. Large salties like this are highly territorial and can become problematic for the locals.”
And John Gills added: “I’m pretty sure this bloke knows what he is doing, unlike all the people commenting from their office chairs.”
The saltwater crocodile, known to Aussies as a saltie, is the largest of all living reptiles and can grow up to 23ft in length.
Because of their size, aggression and distribution, they’re generally considered the most dangerous croc to humans.
Salties have even been known to kill other apex predators that stray into their territory, including sharks. – Star
