A British tourist been killed after falling from a third floor window of a Walking Street guesthouse in the early hours of Friday morning.

The unnamed thirty-one year old was found gasping for breath and with serious injuries outside the Sweet Heart Guesthouse, which is also home to a first floor Go Go Bar, on the notorious Red-Light street.

Pattaya police confirmed the incident had been reported at 4.30am.

The tourist, who had been naked when he was found, was rushed to the nearby Pattaya Memorial Hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Investigating officers said that witnesses in Walking Street were shocked when the naked man suddenly landed on the ground between them. There had been no cries, shouts or warning, just the sound of a body hitting the pavement.

Police inspecting the room say there are no signs of violence and nothing appears to have been stolen.

Investigators will now examine CCTV footage from the area, and will question all guest-house and Go Go Bar staff in the hope of finding out what has happened.

The man’s name will not be released until relatives have been informed of the tragedy.
